TEL AVIV, Aug 10, 2014 (AFP) - Israel will not engage in talks to end the violence in Gaza while coming under fire, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday.
"Israel will not engage in negotiations under fire, and will continue to act in every way to change the current reality and to bring quiet to all of its citizens," he told the cabinet as it met at the defence ministry in Tel Aviv, a statement from his office said.
