Friday, 25 September 2020_German giants Bayern Munich have added the UEFA Super Cup to their list of trophies, after finding an extra-time winner against Sevilla, edging out a 2-1 win in front of more than 15,000 fans at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.

Leon Goretzka scored the equalizer in the 34th minute, after a superb set-up by the player of the year contender, Robert Lewandowski.

Bayern, who last tasted defeat in December 2019, clinched the victory after substitute Javi Martinez headed home the winner in the 104th-minute, as the Bavarian giants claim the Super Cup for the second time, with the other success back in 2013.

The Cup is also Bayern’s fourth this season, after winning the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and the Champions League titles.
