Former Iranian striker Ali Karimi has taken the ice bucket challenge.
On a video posted on Youtube, Karimi introduces himself as former Iranian soccer player taking the ice bucket challenge.
He also challenges three other Iranian celebrities. The three are the currently coach and former soccer player Ali Daei, singer Maziar Fallahi, and actor/filmmaker Reza Attaran.
The ice bucket challenge is currently a trend taken by many celebrities in all countries. The celebrities include figures in the entertainment business to social media to politics.

The cause followed by the challenge is to increase public awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourage donations to research.
