Tehran, YJC. President Rouhani says his administration will do everything in its power to mitigate economic sanctions.
President
Hassan Rouhani who was speaking at a conference in Tehran on Saturday said that
the Iranian ruling party is not afraid of the West’s economic sanctions.
"Sanctions
are an injustice against the nation’s rights,” he asserted, adding "We must
fight the oppressor and make him back down. We will use all of our power and
waste no time.”
The President
stated "Our kind Leader has stood by this movement since the starts. We have
been using his guidelines all the way through.”
Providing
comments on his administration’s foreign policy he said, we have taken on the
dire diplomatic role in order to stop trespassers that violate the nation’s
rights and to contribute to regional peace.
"This was done due to the sensitivity of
the circumstances, our relations with the world, and the violations that had
been done to us. Anti-humanitarian sanctions had been imposed on us. Therefore,
it was necessary for our diplomatic commanders and soldiers to disregard day
and night in this battlefield and to take on an enormous task," Rouhani
said.
