The Gedaref State Police in Sudan has arrested 30 figures among the leaders of the regime of ousted President Omar Al-Bashir, based on a warrant issued by the Public Prosecution on charges, some of which are related to financing terrorism.
The Public Prosecution Office restricted legal procedures against members of the Bashir regime under articles of the Anti-Terrorism and Money Laundering Law, in addition to two articles of the Criminal Code related to undermining the constitutional order and provoking war against the state.
Gedaref State Police in Sudan The arrest of 30 leaders of the regime of ousted President Omar Al-Bashir, And that is according to what “Sudan Tribune” newspaper reported, which indicated that 56 leaders of the Bashir regime had been arrested in the state. She added that the list against which the arrest warrants were issued includes the vice president of the dissolved National Congress Party in the state of Gadaref, Abdul Qadir Muhammad Ali, the former deputy governor, Muhammad Abdel Fadil al-Sunni, and the former Minister of Finance, Musa Bashir Musa.
The Public Prosecution arrested members of the Bashir regime for crimes related to the Anti-Terrorism and Money Laundering Law, which are articles related to money laundering, terrorist financing, criminal participation and incitement, in addition to undermining the constitutional order and provoking war against the state.
