TEHRAN, YJC. European countries as well as some US companies are ‘in queue’ to expand trade with Iran.
Despite severe sanctions on the Islamic Republic, releasing some of Iranian frozen assets and removal of sanctions on Iran’s Central Bank and some other Iranian companies poured some European and US companies to Iran who sought profitable deals with country’s untouched consumer market.

Only a few weeks ago a European court gave a verdict on removal of sanctions on Iran’s  Central Bank and since the Geneva deal took effect in November 2013, some of Iran’s frozen assets have been released back to the country, which attracted the EU companies to improve economic relations with the country.

Last year saw panoply of European economic delegations came to Iran seeking improved trade with Iran.

The EU, however, is under US significant political pressures to comply with sanctions against Iran while the Islamic Republic was a customer of the Union, especially of France, Britain, and Germany.
