Sunday ,1 August 2021 (YJC)_ Head of the COV-Iran Barekat vaccine project announced that HEIKO has supplied the health ministry with 1.5mln doses of the home-made vaccine.
In his remarks on Sunday the head of the COV-Iran Barekat vaccine project at the Headquarters for the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order Hassan Jalili announced that HEIKO has supplied the health ministry with 1.5mln doses of the home-made vaccine.
“Today, we delivered 200,000 new doses of coronavirus vaccine to the health ministry for public injection.” he said while adding that “In the past weeks, 1.3 million doses of COV-Iran Barekat vaccine were delivered to the health ministry.”
He also said that the total number of delivered vaccines increased to 1.5mln doses.
Jalili also announced that “HEIKO has so far produced 5mln doses of coronavirus vaccine which have been sent to the quality test section,” and added “This stage takes 16 to 20 days.”
last Tuesday Deputy Head of the HEIKO for Coordination Seyed Mostafa Seyeh Hashemi had announced that the company has so far produced 5mln doses of the COV-Iran Barekat vaccine.
Also last Sunday, Iranian Health Minister Saeed Namaki had said that the HEIKO will provide the health ministry with 1.2mln doses of the COV-Iran Barekat vaccine every week.
