Saturday, 7 August 2021 (YJC)_While referring to the country’s power, Iranian Defense Minister said none of its enemy dares to launch war against the country.

Gen. Hatami: Enemy Never Dares to Launch Military War against IranAddressing a host of Army Ground Force commanders in Tehran on Saturday, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami referred to the country’s power in the field of indigenized military equipment and said that none of its enemy dares to launch war against the country.

“The position of Iran’s Army Ground Force in ensuring the national security of the country is of strategic importance,” he said.

He went on to highlight the fact that enemies of Iran have always resorted to many plots to invade the soil of this country, while noting that “The vigilance, readiness, authority and the stabilizing presence of the Armed Forces, especially the Army Ground Force make them not dare to invade our country.”

“Iran enjoys a special strategic and geopolitical position in the West Asian region,” Hatami said while adding “Throughout history, arrogant powers have always had greedy eyes over our unique geography and that’s why one of the obligatory duties that Imam Khomeini (RA) instructed is to fully protect our homeland and the holy establishment of the Islamic Republic.”

Elsewhere in his remarks the Iranian defense minister said “Today, our defense developments in all areas of warfare, especially in the areas of missiles, and UAVs, have become a thorn in the eyes of our enemies,” while noting that right now under the wise guidelines of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, armed forces have achieved astonishing progress in the field of the defense industry.

Finally, he stressed that Iran is not dependent on any country or power and is ready to export most of its advanced products and achievements to other countries.

Tensions have simmered in the region after a suspected drone attack last week on an Israeli-managed tanker off the Omani coast killed two crew members and was blamed on Iran by the US, Israel and Britain, without any evidence.

The US said Sunday that it would work with their allies to respond to the alleged attack. Iran repeatedly denied any involvement in the attack.
