According to Sputnik, US President Joe Biden made several mistakes during a news conference on the Taliban's seizure of power in Afghanistan.
According to the report, he forgot the journalistic question from the audience, mistyped the name of the Qatari capital, and also said that al-Qaeda had left the Islamic Republic.
During the press conference, a reporter asked the US President what security guarantees are in place for people entering Kabul Airport. Biden replied that US officials were in constant contact with Taliban representatives in Kabul and the Qatari capital, Doha (which he called "Dahu").
Biden also said that al-Qaeda has completely withdrawn from Afghanistan, although this contradicts Pentagon data.
In addition, another NBC News reporter, Richard Engel, asked Biden why he trusted the Taliban. At that moment, Biden told him that he had forgotten the first part of his question.
