Monday, 23 August 2021 (YJC)_ The Foreign ministry spokesman reacted to the former US Secretary of State's remarks about the assassination of Martyr Soleimani, saying that the current Fox News commentator should be careful what he says.
In a press conference today, Saeed Khatibzadeh, in response to a question about the recent remarks of former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo about how the country withdrew from Afghanistan and made some hostile remarks against Iran, including the assassination of Martyr Soleimani, said: News and the former notorious and extremist US Secretary of State has said that it is deeply regrettable. The Trump administration was a collection of vices, but among them Pompeo was the leader. According to him, he is a master of theft, fraud and everything that is going on in the US intelligence services.
Khatibzadeh added: "He does not know that for us, martyrdom in the way of God is the highest victory, even when it happens at the hands of the most vicious men." Sardar Soleimani, the most peaceful commander in the region, was martyred by the most vicious people.
He continued: "Of course, we will not allow those who participated in his martyrdom to go unpunished." We will definitely hold accountable all those who were involved in this assassination. We have not had any meetings with other relevant countries and international organizations, except that we have followed up on this issue.
A spokesman for the diplomatic corps said: "The current Fox News commentator should be careful what he says.
