Thursday, 26 August 2021 (YJC)_ Following the Islamic Consultative Assembly's vote of confidence in Hossein Amir-Abdollahian for the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, the Foreign Minister of the Yemeni National Salvation Government congratulated him in a message.
Hisham Sharaf Abdullah, Foreign Minister of the Yemeni National Salvation Government, sent a congratulatory message to the new Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
According to Saba news agency, Hisham Sharaf Abdullah congratulated Amir-Abdollahian on receiving a vote of confidence from the parliament and said that Sanaa was ready to contact the Iranian Foreign Ministry to develop cooperation between the two countries and the brotherly nation of Iran and Yemen.
He also formally invited Amir-Abdollahian to visit Yemen, of course, when the trip is approved through official diplomatic channels.
