Wednesday, 1 September 2021 (YJC)_ An Iraqi Interior Ministry official announced the arrest of an active commander of the ISIL terrorist group in Ninawa province.
According to Shafaq News, the director general of internal affairs and security of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday the arrest of a high-ranking commander of the ISIL terrorist group.
According to the report, the arrested terrorist was among those who were involved in organizing the activities of the military and supporting women members of the ISIL group.
Prior to his arrest in Ninawa Governorate, he gave numerous speeches to incite public opinion in ISIL-held areas against the central government in Baghdad and high-ranking Iraqi officials, and to organize terrorist elements to carry out suicide operations and assassinate Iraqi officials.
