Tehran, YJC. Iranian MP says a new claim by US neocons about Iran sending troops to Syria is to prevent Iranian nuclear talks from reaching a comprehensive deal.

Member of the National Security And Foreign Policy Committee of Majlis Baqer Hosseini denied the allegations and stated that such allegations seek to affect the fight on terrorism as well as Iran’s nuclear talks.

Speaking in interview with ICANA he said "The Islamic Republic of Iran has not hired any foreign national for war in Syria under any names.”

"Iran has never directly sent troops to Syria. This is a false statement that Iran has dispatched Afghan hirelings to Syria.”

The lawmaker asserted "The US warmongering newcons’ media current accuse Iran of sending troops to Syria when they conspicuously support the Free Syrian Army, which is by itself outright support for terrorism.”

Maintaining that Iran fights terrorism with good will he said "Despite Western powers, Iran sees all terrorists in the same terms; which is why it is opposed to all sorts of terrorism anywhere in the world; within which framework it has so far fought terrorists in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and even Lebanon.”

He asserted that the allegations that Iran has sent troops to Syria is a stunt carried out by Zionist media and warned against the bad effects of such media barrage on the country’s ongoing nuclear negotiations.

"Americans have to appreciate the last opportunity given to them by the Islamic Republic. The US Foreign Ministry’s silence on such curious currents set in motion by media against Iran is quite conspicuous.”
