Khatibzadeh criticizes US and European troika approach on the eve of talksSaeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote in a tweet comparing the approach and actions of the United States / European Troika and the Islamic Republic of Iran:
In the run-up to the Vienna talks, the United States and the European troika are issuing fraudulent statements, escalating sanctions, fabricating distorted narratives, and remaining silent in the face of Israeli threats.

He added:
Iran is a serious and high-level negotiating team. Calls for an immediate good agreement and full implementation of the JCPOA and Resolution 2231, and conducts regional consultations.

Khatibzadeh added:
It is enough to compare the priorities of the two sides.
