Saturday, 4 December 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian IRGC forces have seized a shipment of illegal weapons in the northwestern part of the country.
Hamzeh Seyyed ol-Shohada Base in the northwestern province of West Azarbaijan released a statement in which it is announced that Iranian IRGC forces have seized a shipment of illegal weapons in the northwestern part of the country.
“Some weapons and two vehicles were captured from arms traffickers at the border areas of Urmia County, the capital of the northwestern province,” statement reads.
“This armed groups were trying to deliver these weapons to the elements affiliated with them with the aim of creating insecurity and riots inside the country,” it added while noting three people have been arrested in the operation against the arms traffickers and have been handed over to judicial authorities.
