Thursday, 9 December 2021 (YJC)_ The founder of Microsoft predicted the end of the acute phase of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2022.
According to Sputnik, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates wrote on his personal blog that despite the emergence of new strains of the corona virus and insufficient vaccination, the acute phase of the Covid-19 pandemic may end early next year.
Gates also admitted that he did not expect the "Delta" contagious type to appear and that people would be persuaded for a long time to be vaccinated and masked.
The founder of Microsoft wrote:
However, I hope the end is not far off. Another prediction is stupid, but I think the acute phase of the pandemic will end in 2022.
Gates said:
While the omicron strain is worrisome, the international community is now better equipped to deal with the virus than in previous stages.
