Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany
I sincerely congratulate His Excellency on his appointment as Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The historical relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Federal Republic of Germany, which are over one hundred and fifty years old and based on large and diverse capacities, have provided a valuable legacy for the further development of political, economic and cultural relations between the two civilized nations.
I believe that by taking advantage of this opportunity, the two countries can establish useful and valuable cooperation in bilateral relations in an atmosphere of mutual respect and mutual interest. In addition, our world today faces significant challenges at the international and regional levels. Successfully addressing challenges requires understanding of shared international responsibility and working together in actions that can bring peace, stability and prosperity to the peoples of the world. I declare the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to expand interactions in this direction.
Emphasizing the determination of the Islamic Republic of Iran to maximize interaction with all countries of the world, especially the Federal Republic of Germany, I hope that the relations between the two countries will expand more than before during your tenure.
