Saturday, 25 December 2021 (YJC)_ Lebanon's Mufti Jafari said the United States thinks the Lebanese people will leave the resistance because of economic problems, but is under illusion.

Sheikh Qablan: Lebanese Shiites do not leave the resistance due to economic problemsSheikh Ahmad Qablan, Mufti of Lebanon Jafari, said in Friday prayer sermons that the United States was trying to distance the Lebanese people, especially Shiites, from the resistance by boycotting them, but that this was just an illusion.

According to the publication's website, referring to the Beirut bombing case and Judge Tariq al-Bitar's attempt to condemn the resistance groups, he said that Bitar had turned the court into a market and that the current crisis was political, not judicial.

Sheikh Qablan, speaking at the Imam Hussein Mosque in the Burj al-Barajneh area south of Beirut, stressed that political reconciliation requires leaders who are not submissive, who do not fear anyone, and who do not focus on their personal interests.

The Lebanese Mufti Jafari then said that some media outlets are also dependent and think only of the dollar and have committed the worst betrayal of the people and the country.

He then referred to US sanctions against Lebanon and said:
If the United States thinks that it is destroying the resistance by putting more pressure on Lebanon, it is deluded, and if it thinks that the Lebanese Shiites will change their position on the resistance groups by putting Lebanon in a tight spot and starving its people. It is an illusion.

Sheikh Qablan emphasized that the Lebanese Shiites have spoken before and are still in the same position and are present in every arena, and in every village, town and neighborhood, they consider the resistance as their only option and believe that the existence of Hezbollah and The Amal movement is essential for the preservation of Lebanon.

In another part of his speech, he addressed the Christians and congratulated them on the eve of the birth of Jesus (pbuh) and asked them to avoid the evil of the United States as much as possible, emphasizing that all the historical troubles in Lebanon are on the part of the United States and the United States.
