Monday, 3 January 2022 (YJC)_ US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin contracted Corona.
Lloyd Austin said in a statement that he requested a corona test on Sunday after seeing some symptoms and quarantined himself after the test was positive.
He said in a statement that his illness was "mild" but that he was being quarantined for five days, according to doctors, and that he planned to attend the weekly meetings virtually.
The Secretary of Defense announced that he last met with US President Joe Biden on December 21, more than ten days ago.
