Thursday, 6 January 2022 (YJC)_ Iran's chief negotiator said the country’s delegation and the Group 4+1 countries are doing their best to achieve results in Vienna talks.
Before participating the talks with representatives of JCPOA, Iran's top negotiator Ali Baqeri Kani said the country’s delegation and the Group 4+1 countries are doing their best to achieve results in Vienna talks.
“Our progress regarding the removal of sanctions the US imposed on Iran and the overall progress of the Vienna talks are positive and forward-moving,” he said while noting that efforts were underway to achieve results from the talks.
Also in a separate message, the Russian chief negotiator to the Vienna negotiations Mikhail Ulyanov said in a tweet that the talks between Iran and the five countries “continue to advance slowly but steadily”.
In a relevant remark, last night, the chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Vahid Jalalzadeh said that a powerful economy can guarantee Iran at the table of negotiation and noted “Complete lifting of sanctions and its verification in line with the guidelines of Iranian Supreme Leader is what Iranian team is looking for in the Vienna talks.”
