Saturday, 8 January 2022 (YJC)_ The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that the leadership of the Peacekeeping Forces will be led by the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Kazakhstan and the Commander of the Russian Air Force.
The command of the peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Kazakhstan was handed over to "Andrei Serdyukov", the commander of the air forces of the Russian Federation.
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Kanashenkov, announced that all Russian peacekeepers had received special training and had real combat experience.
He said:
The groups, set up by the Russian Ministry of Defense consisting of 70 IL-76s and 5 of its 124s, transport units of the Russian peacekeeping force to the Collective Security Treaty Organization to Kazakhstan on a 24-hour basis.
According to him, the Almaty International Airport is currently under full control of the Russian Federation Peacekeeping Forces, together with law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan.
Russian military transport planes also transport troops from Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia to Kazakhstan.
