Friday, 14 January 2022 (YJC)_ Referring to the good coordination between Iran and China on various issues and the progress made in the interests of the two countries, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that in the 13th government, we are facing a further acceleration of relations between the two countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who headed a political delegation to China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, stated in a statement about the agenda of his talks with the Chinese Foreign Minister:
We are in the 50th anniversary of Iran-China diplomatic relations.
He noted that in the past four months, there have been more than seven contacts and meetings between the Chinese Foreign Minister and myself, and at the level of presidents, contacts and communications are very smooth, he noted:
This shows the importance and growth and development of relations between the two countries, and in the new government, we are facing more acceleration of relations.
The Foreign Minister stated:
In bilateral relations, we have good coordination and diversity in various issues, and in the interests of both parties, we have made great progress in various issues.
He stated:
Strategic issues are on the agenda of the two countries, and these issues have created a new literature in the correspondence between the presidents of the two countries.
