Friday, 4 February 2022 (YJC)_ South Korea's deputy foreign minister announced talks with the US envoy to Iran on the Vienna talks and expressed support for the diplomatic efforts.
South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Choi Jong-kan tweeted about talks with US Special Representative for Iran Robert Mali on the Vienna talks.
He wrote in this regard:
I spoke with the US envoy to Iran about the direction of the talks to revive Borjam, and discussed ways to ease the situation. The South Korean Foreign Ministry in Seoul supports the diplomatic efforts of Bagheri Keni (Iran's chief negotiator in the Vienna talks), Enrique Mora (EU envoy to the talks), Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's envoy and three European countries in Vienna.
