Monday, 7 February 2022 (YJC)_ The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stating that Europe is an important capacity in Iran's foreign policy, reminded: "We do not see Europe only in the three countries that are on the side of the JCPOA.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, attended a joint press conference today (Monday) after meeting with his Finnish counterpart, Peka Havisto, and explained the talks.
He said:
We had a variety of talks with the Secretary of State on various areas of bilateral relations. Iran-Finland relations are stable. We are aware of Finland's attention to developments in the West Asian region and Afghanistan. We also emphasize the need for an inclusive government with the participation of all ethnic groups in Afghanistan.
Amir-Abdollahian also referred to Hawisto's meeting with Kazemi Qomi and added:
Detailed discussions took place. We welcome the return of calm to the region and the cessation of military strikes against Yemen and the cessation of the escalation of the war and the focus on lifting the humanitarian blockade and the Yemeni-Yemeni ceasefire and talks, and we hope that this meeting will expand relations.
He said:
Europe is an important capacity in Iran's foreign policy, and we do not see Europe only in the three JCPOA countries. While welcoming the development of relations with these three countries, Iran is also paying attention to other European countries.
