Sunday, 13 February 2022 (YJC)_ The head of the Hamas movement outside Palestine, noting that Tehran's support for Palestine is unconditional, said that the Zionist regime is no longer an effective American tool in the region.
Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal outside Palestine stressed that one should not wait for changes in the international arena to resolve the Palestinian issue, and that this is wrong.
Shahab News Agency quoted Mashal as saying:
We are the ones who make our destiny and shape our present and future. The Arab-Arabic and Arab-Islamic differences also hurt us.
"The inclusion of the Zionist regime in regional coalitions is painful," he said.
The US withdrawal from the region and its involvement in China and Russia increase the opportunities for countries in the region to play a role far from being pursued.
The Hamas official stressed that the US withdrawal from the region is in the interest of the Palestinian issue:
Israel is no longer an effective American tool in the region ... Israel's international legitimacy is declining and its sanctions are increasing in various countries around the world.
"The Oslo Accords are an illusion," he said.
Resistance operations have doubled between 2020 and 2021. We work hard to build resilience using a variety of tactics and tools.
Emphasizing the unification of the Palestinian Front, he stated:
The nations of the region continue to oppose the normalization of relations (disclosure of relations). The latest example of this opposition was that Kuwaiti player Mohamed Al-Awadi refused to play against the Israeli player.
The head of Hamas outside Palestine said that Hamas's relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran date back to the early 1990s, adding that Iran is different from other pro-Palestinian countries and that its support is unconditional.
Mashaal has previously called for the Islamic Ummah to step up its efforts to help the Palestinian cause and support its people. He emphasized:
The situation we are in now is in the process of preparing for a war of total liberation, and Palestine is the title of the conflict between right and wrong and the compass of the Muslim Ummah, to which all attention must be paid.
Mashal said that Hamas is still committed to the resistance in order to regain the free Palestinian land, and the sanctities of the Muslim Ummah in this blessed land.
