Saturday, 19 February 2022 (YJC)_ During a meeting with his Dutch counterpart in Munich, the Foreign Minister stressed the need to lift all sanctions that are inconsistent with the UN Security Council and the need to pay attention to Iran's red lines in the ongoing negotiations in Vienna.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is in Munich, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Wupke Hoekstra, yesterday (Friday) on the sidelines of the 58th Munich Security Conference and in continuation of consultations with the participating authorities. He discussed the status of bilateral relations and some issues of mutual concern.
During the meeting, Amir Abdullahian stressed the need for the two countries to work to bring the views of Iran and the Netherlands closer and to implement the agreements between the two countries to further develop and expand relations.
The head of the diplomatic corps also described the latest state of the negotiation process in Vienna. While exchanging views with his Dutch counterpart in this regard, he stressed the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the need to lift all sanctions inconsistent with the JCPOA and the need to pay attention to our country's red lines in the ongoing negotiations in Vienna.
