Sunday, 20 February 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian President said that the western states’ pressures against Iran will fade the prospect of an agreement in Vienna talks.
In his phone talk with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raesi said that the western states’ pressures against Iran will fade the prospect of an agreement in Vienna talks.
The two sides discussed the latest status of the ongoing talks in Vienna and Iranian President said it has been many times that the Iranian negotiating team announced Iran’s readiness for the initiatives that would guarantee the provision and protection of the Iranian’s rights.
“Thus far, the western part claims repeatedly that they want to keep Iran under pressure which undermine the prospect of reaching an agreement,” Raeisi said while urging Iranian team to advance talks with seriousness.
Currently the eighth round of talks on the removal of all anti-Iranian sanctions is held in Vienna.
Prior to this, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that the parties attend JCPOA talks should respect Iran’s redlines.
