Thursday, 3 March 2022 (YJC)_ Referring to the failure of the maximum pressure, Shamkhani tweeted: If the Vienna talks do not lead to a good agreement, the current US administration will certainly feel defeated in the not-too-distant future due to the lack of timely use of diplomatic opportunities.
Ali Shamkhati, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, tweeted this morning (Thursday):
The "active resistance" strategy thwarted Trump's "maximum pressure" policy, the current US administration admits.
He added:
