Tuesday, 8 March 2022 (YJC)_ The ruler of Dubai and the Prime Minister of the UAE, in a message to the Arab countries, called for the cooperation and closeness of the Arabs, stating that a new history is taking shape.
Dubai Governor and UAE Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum sent a message to the Arab world about a new history taking shape.
Al-Maktoum said in a tweet released Monday:
The world is going through big changes and new balances and difficult coalitions. In the end, only strong, rich and prosperous nations will prevail.
He further asked:
Isn't it time for the Arabs to get closer to each other, to cooperate and to agree in order to have weight and an opinion and a place in the new history that is already being built.
Al-Maktoum did not elaborate on what historic developments he was talking about, but his tweet coincided with intense tensions in Europe and Russian military operations in Ukraine.
