Tehran,YJC. Mohammadreza Bahonar has said that as the Supreme Leader has named the new year one of econo-political breakthrough, this year effort must be made to turn threats into opportunities.
Bahonar said "The
ultimate goal for the enemy with their pressures is a political one; therefore
in the year of economic and political breakthrough we must turn threats into
opportunities.”
He then pointed
to the last year and said that it has been the year for national product and
support for Iranian labor and fund, where efforts were made accordingly.
Bahonar added "The
realization of national product had a good progress software-wise, major
policies having been introduced by the Expediency Discernment Council and the Supreme
Leader.”
He then
pointed to the increased economic pressure in the second half of the last year
and asserted "Enemies of the Islamic Republic thought they were after
paralyzing pressure, but fortunately good resistance was made by the people and
the enemy’s schemes went bland.”
Bahonar
also stated that the economic pressures are not merely economic, but "The end
reason for the enemies is political, and we must do great deeds in the econo-political
sphere.”
