Thursday, 31 March 2022 (YJC)_ The spokesman for Iran's foreign ministry called the new US sanctions against Iranian nationals another sign of the US government's intransigence against the Iranian people, which is designed to continue its failed policy of maximum pressure on Iran.
Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated today (Thursday) regarding the newly announced US sanctions against the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran:
This action is another sign of the US government's malice towards the Iranian people, which is designed to continue its failed policy of maximum pressure against Iran. It clearly proves the fact that the current US administration, contrary to its claims, is using every opportunity to make baseless accusations and put pressure on the Iranian people.
He added:
The United States continues to violate UN Security Council Resolution 2231, while claiming that it is ready to return to the full implementation of its obligations under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
