Saudi Arabia imposes new sanctions on YemenThe head of Saudi state security announced that he has put 25 foreign individuals and entities on his terrorism list on charges of involvement in facilitating financial operations for the Yemeni Ansarullah movement.

According to the official news agency of the Saudi government "Wass", it is claimed that these individuals and institutions acted as an international network with the aim of destabilizing the situation in Yemen and with the support of the Revolutionary Guards of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The list includes Saudi Arabia with 10 individuals and 15 companies, most of which have been banned from trading in the food trade. The names of the two ships are also on the list.

Three Yemeni nationals, two Indians, two Syrians, a Greek national, a British national and a Somali national have been added to the sanctions list, according to the official Saudi news agency.

Media sources have stated that the Saudi government, in coordination with the US Treasury Department, has decided to do so.

Earlier, the UN Security Council tightened its sanctions against the Yemeni Ansarullah movement following operations by Yemeni resistance forces against the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
