Wednesday, 6 April 2022 (YJC)_ The head of the Atomic Energy Organization said that 9 new achievements will be unveiled on April 9, on the 16th National Anniversary of Nuclear Technology, adding that the documents that we were supposed to send on March 20 have been provided to the Agency.
Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization Mohammad Islami in a press conference this morning (Wednesday) explained the plans for the 16th National Anniversary of Nuclear Technology, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 9, with the presence of Seyed Ibrahim Raeisi.
He said:
We thank God that in 1401 we start the National Day of Nuclear Technology at the beginning of the new century in a situation called the year of production, knowledge base and employment. The prosperity of our economy requires attention to knowledge and technology, products that are rooted in the view of quantity and quality based on knowledge that can produce quality and durable products tailored to consumer tastes as well as consumer goods, capital, durable.
He said:
The second part is the path that has been taken in the past. So far, dozens of large and small technologies have been among the annual achievements, which have included 25 achievements. For the new year, 9 new achievements will be unveiled on April 9, which includes three achievements in the field of radiopharmaceuticals that are used in the diagnostic and treatment department, which will enter clinical trials with the permission of the Ministry of Health. Two achievements in the field of plasma, which is perhaps the first time that the country uses cold plasma technology, one of which is in the discussion of plasmotherapy for the treatment of cancer, which is a harmless and effective method due to the large number of cancer patients. Doctors are used and this technology is at the service of the people that we have gone through the laboratory phase and from now on it will enter clinical trials.
Islami pointed out:
The documents that we were supposed to send on March 20 have been provided to the Agency, and probably the IAEA representatives should come to Iran to review the answers and then prepare the final report. I hope that without being infiltrated by our enemies, they will handle their work within an expert and logical framework and send the final summary and report.
