Monday, 16 May 2022 (YJC)_ The Omani Air Force has begun a joint exercise with the US Air Force in Oman.
The Omani and US Air Forces launched a joint exercise called "Al-Ikhtbar Al-Daqiq" (precision test) on Sunday (yesterday) and will continue until May 19.
The purpose of holding this exercise is to prepare and enhance the capabilities of the Omani forces, and includes various exercises, including exercises in hypothetical spaces appropriate to the role of air units and its missions.
Oman News Agency reported that the purpose of these exercises is to improve the level of readiness of the Oman Air Force in accordance with the operational goals of these forces.
