Tehran, YJC. Saber Hushmand and Bahman Salemi Injehboroun have qualified for main draw at the 2015 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.
The Iranian on Tuesday team gained huge success by defeating
Jerome Fredericks and Keifer Govender 2-1 (19-21, 21-9, 15-10) at the Rose Garden
Park in the South Africa’s Bloemfontein.
FIVB wrote on its website that the two Iranians are the 1st
ever team from Iran to qualify for main draw at a World Tour event.
The 2014 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour is an
international beach volleyball circuit organized by the Fédération
Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).
In the first match of the day also Australia secured a main
draw against the United States
Speaking to reporters, Hushmand said "We played well. It’s
the first time my partner and I played on the World Tour and it is also the
first time we go to the main draw. So we are proud.”
