Tehran, YJC. The president of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq hailed Iran’s support for the Iraqi government and nation in their fight against terrorists.
"Iran has always stood by the Iraqi government and its people in difficult
situations when the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorist group
was threatening Arbil and Baghdad, and this is something which is worthy of
appreciation,” said Masoud Barzani in a meeting with Iran’s Majlis Speaker Ali
Larijani in Arbil on Friday.

region and Iranian provincials, Barzani stated that the two sides are in
desirable relations, something that is going to be expanded in the future.

as sensitive and dire, calling on all regional states to "feel responsible” in regard
to the regional crises.

a regional tour. Beisdes Barzani, he also met with some top officials,
including former Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, Iraqi Prime
