Tehran, YJC. Terrorist fighters have fled to Pakistan after they killed three Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) officers, a local official of Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Province said on Monday.

According to a report by IRNA, Deputy Governor General for security affairs of Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Ali Asghar Mirshekari said that three terrorist fighterse ambushed out on the way of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) soldiers' petrol car in the vicinity of Saravan county in the southeastern province on Sunday evening.

They shot down the three IRGC officers in a surprise attack which took place at the zero border area.

Saravan is located 340 km to the south of the provincial capital Zahedan, close by the Iranian border with Pakistan.

Iran has frequently suffered losses for terrorist attacks from the neighbor country, despite comprehensive measures to make the border secure.

Iran accuses the neighbor country of negligence in maintaining security over its land and borders and knows the neighbor country’s government accountable for the loss of the lives of its soldiers.
