NANTERRE, France, Jan 18, 2015 (AFP) - Cherif Kouachi, one of the two brothers who killed 12 people in an attack on France's Charlie Hebdo magazine, has been buried amid tight security outside of Paris, the local mayor's office told AFP.
Kouachi was buried just before midnight Saturday at a cemetery in Gennevilliers, where he used to live, officials said. No relatives attended the funeral and the grave is unmarked to avoid it becoming "a pilgrimage site" for Islamists, the official said.
