Tehran, YJC. The Iranian FM said he hoped states involved in nuclear negotiations with Iran within the P5+1 would be optimistic enough so that a solution is worked out.
At a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian in Yerevan on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said
these countries should be aware that they could hold talks with no countries
while simultaneously putting pressure on them.
He said working out a solution is going to benefit all
especially the regional countries.
Pointing out that discussions during nuclear negotiations
with the sextet are now focusing on expert details, the Iranian foreign
minister said the other parties have already accepted Iran's right to continue
its enrichment activities.
Noting that Iran has never intended to develop nuclear weapons,
he stated Tehran is ready to offer necessary proofs about the peaceful nature
of its nuclear activities to a limited numbers of countries which doubt it.
The FM said the existing differences on details could be
removed by the political will of negotiating parties.
Zarif arrived in the Armenian capital on Monday heading an
Iranian delegation.
The 2-day visit is upon invitation of Armenian Foreign
Minister Edward Nalbandian.
