Tehran, YJC. Senior Advisor of the Supreme Leader has said that interests of Iranian nation and Iranian national security have the priority over any engagement.

speaking on diplomacy and nuclear talks,

Addressing large groups of people in West Azarbaijan Province, on Wednesday in ceremonies marking the triumph anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Major General Seyed Yahya Rahim Safavi lauded glorious presence of the public in Wednesday’s nationwide rallies and said public presence serves as a component of the influential deterrence power of the system against any foreign and domestic threat.

He asserted that taking part in the day’s rallies the Iranian nation call on the government and other organization to continue proceeding in the path of diplomacy and talks, while guaranteeing national interests and national security.

Safavi is a military commander who served as the chief commander of the IRGC from 1 September 1997 until 1 September 2007.
