TEHRAN, YJC. -- EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commissionwill visit Turkey on April 3-4.
Catherine Ashton will evaluate major international and regional issues and Turkey-EU relations.
During her visit, Ashton will meet Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet
Davutoglu and evaluate major international and regional issues
extensively and also discuss Turkey-EU relations.
Ashton will be received by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan too.
United States Assistant Secretary of State Kerri-Ann Jones, who is responsible from International Environmental and Scientific Affairs at the US State Department, also will visit Turkey to co-chair a high-level meeting on Turkish-US cooperation in science and technology areas together with TUBITAK Chairman Yucel Altunbasak on April 4.
Visit of Jones will cover Ankara and Istanbul, and continue till April 10.
Jones will also attend a panel discussion to be hosted by Bilkent University in Ankara.
Jones will visit Istanbul on April 8 and 9, and deliver a speech at a UN forum.
