Tehran, YJC. Iran and the US are holding more talks on Tehran’s nuclear program.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and US Secretary of State John Kerry are meeting once more in Laussane, Switzerland.

The sides are discussing a political understanding regarding Iran’s nuclear program, something for which an end-March deadline has been set.

Iran and the group 5+1 are trying to strike a deal on the issue by the self-imposed deadline of July 1.

Zarif and Kerry are accompanied by Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Aliakbar Salehi, US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz, and Helga Schmid, representing the EU.

Earlier the day, Iranian deputies foreign minister Abbas Araqchi and Madjid Takht Ravanchi held talks with US Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman.

Foreign ministers of the other 5+1 members _the UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany_ will join the talks on Sunday.
