Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif received a hero’s welcome upon arrival to Tehran, Press TV reported.
Hundreds of people gathered around Zarif’s vehicle upon his return from Switzerland where he had led the country’s nuclear team in talks with the 5+1 group which resulted in a joint statement on April 2.
Iran’s atomic chief Ali Akbar Salehi, who was present in the nuclear talks, described Zarif as a "divine gift” to lead the Iranian diplomacy.
