Tehran, YJC. Zibakalam has said that the recent nuclear agreement will remain conspicuous in history.

Sadeq Zibakalam, political science professor at the University of Tehran has said that the recent nuclear framework agreement between Iran and world powers will be a turning point in the history of Iran.

Iran reached a political understanding with the group 5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) April 2 in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Zibakalam made the statements in a debate session with MP Hamid Rasaee hosted by YJC.

The reason why in 10 or 30 years the agreement will be a turning point is that since February 11, 1979 till April 2015, there has been rage and contempt in relations with these countries, he stated.

In the past, the two sides would approach each other with skepticism, so much so that they would never trust each other. This is the first time they tried trust, Zibakalam noted.
