An Iranian informed official rejected allegations on murder of an Iranian officer in Yemen as ‘unfounded and sheer lie’.
remarks of the Iranian official came as sources close to resigned Yemeni President, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi claimed that an Iranian officer has been killed in Yemen.
"There is no Iranian military in Yemen. Those who invited foreign forces and the so-called Arab coalition to destruction of Yemen and killing their compatriots know that they have no room among the nation and they cannot hide their betrayal by such lies,” the official said.
Sources of resigned Yemeni government has recently claimed that an Iranian officer was killed and two Lebanese engineers were wounded following an air strike in northwestern Yemen.
The sources further claimed that the air strike came by a fighter led by Saudi-led Arab coalition.
Iranian officials have rejected the allegation, saying that the country has not sent any military to Yemen.
