An Iranian petrochemical official said that the country’s petrochemicals exports rose by 10 percent in the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 20, 2016).
Iran’s petrochemicals exports rise by 10 percentThe process of Iran’s petrochemicals exports is satisfactory and fortunately there has been a rise in foreign countries’ demands, especially from Europe, for purchase from Iranian petrochemical complexes, said Director of Production Control in Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Ali-Mohammad Bosagh-Zadeh.

He predicted a good future for Iran’s petrochemical industry given the country’s infrastructures and facilities.

"Iranian companies are trying to both meet domestic needs and increase exports. We can be witnessing gradual rise in exports this year and next year considering rise in feeding.”

Grounds have been provided for petrochemicals exports after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in terms of logistics and transportation, he said, adding petrochemical complexes face no problem for exports anymore.
