TEHRAN, YJC. -- As the Emergency Operations Center operates on a 24-hour basis to monitor the developments on the Korean Peninsula, Governor Eddie Baza Calvo has placed Guam under threat level condition "yellow".
This means to be careful. According to the latest advisory from the Joint Information Center issued at 8:00pm this indicates there is a medium risk for the island. During a 'yellow' condition, the government continues to operate like normal with a few government agencies participating in emergency preparedness for planning.

The 'yellow' condition also means that island residents should continue with their daily lives while preparing for any potential emergency. It also means that the government is pulling its resources together through the Emergency Operations Center to ensure it is prepared to respond to emergencies.
