Algeria stresses widening bilateral ties with Iran

Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika emphasized developing mutual cooperation between Iran and Algeria.
Algeria stress widening bilateral ties with IranIn a message to his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani concurrent with anniversary of Islamic Revolution victory, Bouteflika stressed continuing efforts to improve and develop bilateral ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He also expressed satisfaction with ‘excellent level of ties' between the two sides, and said he would do his utmost to widen economic and commercial ties between the two countries and help bring further welfare and growth for the two brotherly countries.

In recent years, Iran has sought hard to boost ties and cooperation with Africa.

Iran is an observing member of the African Union (AU) and has shown an active presence in previous AU summit meetings.
