Foreign ministry slams anti-Iran Saudi-Malaysia statement

Iran categorically slammed a statement issued by Saudi Arabia and Malaysia during Saudi King Salman’s visit to Kuala Lumpur.
Foreign ministry slams anti-Iran Saudi-Malaysia statementThe article 15 of the statement posed allegations against Iran entirely rejected by the country.
 
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said that the content of the statement is "Continuation of wrong efforts which are sheer lies and purposeful and have come with much effort and cost.”
 
"The fundamental policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran as an influential and peace-seeking country is mutual respect, avoiding interference in internal affairs of other countries, following policy of good neighborly and cooperation with all neighbors, regional and global countries to strengthen stability, security, peace and continuous battle against terrorism.”
 
He also warned that the no doubt that Malaysian ‘unacceptable’ entering into such lies and purposeful moves orchestrated by Zionist circles and target Islamic World unity would not help boosting bilateral ties between Iran and Malaysia.
 
The Iranian official continued Malaysian state is expected to avoid entering such issues which are discussed by circles seeking weakness of the Islamic World.
 
Malaysia can play a considerable role in solidarity and unity of the Islamic World and better relations among Islamic countries through precision and vigilance, he continued.

In their statement, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia expressed concern about what they called "Iranian interference in the internal affairs of countries in the region.”
