Iran categorically rejected new claim made by Bahraini officials that Manama has arrested 25 individuals linked to a terrorist group supported by Iran.
"Bahraini rulers unable to settle the country’s internal issues and give an appropriate response to peaceful and civil demands of their own citizens, are attributing the nation’s protests to the Islamic Republic of Iran once in a while,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.
He noted that projection is a common approach adopted by all repressive regimes which have problems with their own nation. "This way will never help fixing crises.”
Qassemi recommended Bahraini government to deal with the nation based on honesty, justice and moral principles instead of outdated actions and security approaches.
